AVEL “Gathering”, Charlotte Area 2018
We are having a Gathering of AVEL Vietnam vets in the Charlotte area this October. We are not having a formal Reunion this year but will have a much more relaxed, informal get together. We will have a Hospitality Room as a meeting place to talk, share a cocktail and look at the slideshow to bring back all those fond (for the most part) memories.
There will be a group dinner and a group activity yet to be determined.
PLEASE REGISTER HERE ON THE WEBSITE! There is no obligation but if you think you are coming, PLEASE REGISTER so we have an idea of the size of the crowd.
Dates: 18 October - 21 October 2018
Room Rates: $109.00/night + normal taxes. This rate will be honored for 3 days before and after the scheduled Gathering dates. Breakfast is included!
Reunion Cost: $70.00/person attending. This will include the group dinner, snacks and drinks in the Hospitality Room, ladies lunch and other activities to be determined.
Transportation from the airport: They do not have a shuttle but we will have someone available to pick you up. Just let us know when your flight is coming in.
Cancellation: Rooms can be canceled 48 hours prior to your reservation without charge.
Room Block: We have a 30 room block that can be increased up to 3 weeks prior to the event providing rooms are available. So, make your reservations soon.

John Veers Martini Golf Outing: Verdict Ridge Golf Club, 11:00 AM. The cost is $44.00 including the cart.
Complimentary Ladies Luncheon at Red Rocks Cafe. Transportation from hotel and return provided. Lunch and transportation paid for by Avel Reunion. Wine or cocktails not included. Take time after lunch to explore Birkdale Village. Great shops, movies, wine, etc.
